Why we're building Passionfruit
We’re building Passionfruit to be the most effective way to learn.
For decades, educators and parents have known that the most effective way to learn is with a great one-on-one tutor. AI gives us the chance to make that kind of personal support available to every student.
But out-of-the-box AI is not designed for learning. As it is most commonly used, it does the thinking for students and robs them of the experience of learning.
At Passionfruit, we’re designing AI specifically for learning. We draw on frontier research in how learning happens to give students the right support at the right moment, while leaving room for productive struggle. As a result, students leave each session more curious, more confident, and more capable of figuring things out for themselves.
We believe that AI should expand human capacity and creativity.
